Terms & Conditions
The Refer & Earn Program allows registered MediSave users (an “MediSave User”) to earn points (“Referral Bonus or Bonus”) toward future spending by referring friends to MediSave platform.
To participate, MediSave User must agree to these terms, which become part of the MediSave Terms of Service.
How to Earn Bonus
MediSave users can earn Referral Bonus towards future spending in the MediSave platform if a referred friend clicks on their invite link to create a valid MediSave account that complies with our Terms of Service.
When your friends sign up using your invite link, you will be the “Referral” of your friend.
The connection will be automatically terminated if either party is not active for the past 12 months.
The definition of “active” is at least complete “One Transaction” in the past 12 months in the MediSave platform.
Redeeming Referral Bonus
Referral Bonus may only be redeemed via the MediSave Site, Application and Services.
Referral Bonus will be automatically credited into your account as Points. There is no expiry date for the points earned in this programme.
Referral Bonus may not be earned by creating multiple MediSave Accounts.
Referral Bonus accrued in separate MediSave accounts can not be combined into one MediSave account.
If for any reason you believe that there is a discrepancy regarding your balance of points, please contact us. MediSave may require you to submit additional information in order to make a determination regarding your balance. All decisions regarding your balance will be final at MediSave’s sole discretion.
You are responsible for any Tax consequences, if any, that may result from your redemption or use of Bonus. Where applicable, MediSave may be required to account for SST on any services for which the Bonus are redeemed.
Sharing Invite Links
Invite links should only be used for personal and non-commercial purposes, and only shared with personal connections that will appreciate receiving these invitations.
Invite links should not be published or distributed where there is no reasonable basis for believing that all or most of the recipients are personal friends.
Multiple Referrals
A referred friend may only use one invite link. If a referred friend receives invite links from multiple MediSave Users, only the corresponding MediSave user of the invite link used by the referred friend will receive Referral Bonus.
Severability
If any provision in these terms are held to be invalid, void, or unenforceable, such provision (or the part of it that is making it invalid, void or unenforceable) will be struck and not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
Termination and Changes
MediSave may suspend or terminate the Referral Program or a user’s ability to participate in the Referral Program at any time for any reason.
We reserve the right to suspend accounts or remove Referral Bonus if we notice any activity that we believe is abusive, fraudulent, or in violation of the MediSave Terms of Service or Payments Terms of Service.
We reserve the right to review and investigate all referral activities and to suspend accounts or modify referrals in our sole discretion as deemed fair and appropriate.
The scope, variety, and type of services and products that you may obtain by redeeming Bonus can change at any time.
The following is a non-exhaustive list of activities that are not permitted and that will disqualify you from earning bonuses
- Self-referral
- Posting your referral link on any MediSave merchants in Facebook or forum page
- Keyword bidding for the purpose of generating traffic to pages containing your referral link
- Any similar activity determined by MediSave in its sole discretion to be inconsistent with the purpose of MediSave’s Invite Friends programme. MediSave reserves the right to alter the terms and conditions of this promotion.
Any infringement of the above terms and conditions would result in the loss of all bonuses. Repeat offences would result in the closure of your MediSave account.
Updates to the Terms
We can update these terms at any time without prior notice. If we modify these terms, we will post the modification on the MediSave website, applications, or services, which are effective upon posting. Continued participation in the Referral Program after any modification shall constitute consent to such modification.
